every morning i take my pills and you do not know me. i watch the birds weep across the sky as your eyes change a brilliant blue, a soft green. you can see beyond me. you look at me with grey in january though it is warm still, we cannot see the ocean in any direction. we drive to adams, tn, you move in grey and laugh in blue. we talk about your friend who has died- morphine overdose. there is someone beyond myself and you can see. you walk between the abandoned buildings and watch the train passing alone. my soul is a broken down ferris wheel blinking electric blue and red and green tears into the expansive nothing. true blue i carry you with me.
